At our driving school, we know that teens learn to drive more effectively and become better, safer drivers through individualized behind-the-wheel coaching rather than simple basic instruction alone. It allows them to evaluate their performance and decide how they can improve their decisions next time. This is key - driving is all about decision-making. With a coaching approach, teen drivers are deciding what to do, not just following instructions.

Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is crucial to a teen's success. Teens with a parent involved in their driver education are shown to become significantly safer and more confident drivers.

At The Driving Academy, we recognize the importance of parental involvement. We help parents participate firsthand by sharing coaching tips and holding coach feedback sessions after every behind-the-wheel lesson. We also provide a lesson-by-lesson logbook to help plan and track practice time and keep parents informed about lesson activities.

Parents are welcome to join their student driver on a lesson so that they can observe the coaching approach in action and learn how to incorporate these constructive techniques into their own teen's supervised practice!

Door-to-Door

The Driving Academy is committed to provide excellence. This includes providing teens with complimentary home and school pick-up and drop-off service* for all behind-the-wheel lessons.

Simply schedule your lesson with the desired start and end locations, and a Driving Academy Coach will arrive in one of our brand new vehicle's to conduct the lesson, and finish at the scheduled location. We realize that parents have busy schedules to balance and want to do everything we can to make providing quality driver education convenient and stress-free.
